Interview on Banana Peel Radio

Posted on 20:55, May 2nd, 2011 by Luke Fussell

Want to hear me waffling on Canadian radio?  I thought so.  Well now you can!

On Saturday night I spoke to Jeffrey Rubin from Banana Peel Radio.  He is a lovely chap and didn’t even call me a knob or anything. Check it out by clicking on THIS DELICIOUS LINK.

I am too embarassed to listen to it (I’m a shy one, as you know), so please let me know how it went using a carrier pigeon as usual (not a career pigeon – they are too expensive).  Check out my the ident I did for them too…

Kim Jong Il Looking At Things

We made a new song dedicated to the website Kim Jong Il Looking At Things with the same name.  It was adopted by the site as their “national anthem” and featured in the B3ta newsletter which was nice of everyone.  Nice like.  Listen here: http://soundcloud.com/neonhighwire/kim-jong-il-looking-at-things.

Band of the month on Little House TV

If you’re on a student network (recent change, most annoying) you can see us on Little House here: http://littlehousetv.com/.  Last I saw it had us playing Under Moonlight at the end of the show, but as I’m not a student I don’t know what’s there anymore.  Let me know if it’s changed students.  You now have a purpose.

TwoGroove wrote some nice things about us in addition to the interview we did with them.  Don’t take my word for it though, click here: http://bit.ly/ex0qiq

Gig of the Day on Amazing Radio

Posted on 13:01, February 17th, 2011 by Luke Fussell

Tomorrow night’s gig at Vibe Bar on Brick Lane is to be the featured “gig of the day” on Amazing Radio tomorrow! Make sure you tune in on your DAB tomorrow or click here at 1pm to hear one of our tracks and some info about the gig.
If you’re one of those people who has a job, why not use the Rewind function on the site to find out what you missed.

Tomorrow night’s gig will be our last for a while as we are retreating to a fall-out bunker in the former Soviet Union for a few months to fashion some new tunes out of naught but turnips and Communist rhetoric. It’s going to be big, so make sure you head down. It’s bloody free entry! What else are you gonna do for free, eh?!

Peas out.
